Friday night Sam and I rode to Derry for the game that we WON! 30-7. It was a good game and since we were taking scrapbook pictures we got to stand on the sidelines with the team..not bad..not bad at all. Then, Sam stayed here and Saturday morning we had to get up early and head up to school to cheer for the JV game at 9:15. Then, we went shopping around here and got scrapbooking stuff for her book and I helped her get started scrapping at her house. Her book for Brandon is gonna be awesome too! Sam, I love you! Thanks for a great weekend my "Byzantine Princess!" hahaha!

Well, unfortunately 12:00 AM brought the lovely summer to an end, and 5:50 AM began 180 days of fun...    I mean, it's not that bad --starting fresh, dances, formals, guys, cheering at friday night football games and then basketball, 4 months until Christmas, 6 months until my sixteenth...and 179 days until next summer. Yes, my glass if half FULL. Or atleast it seems to be. It wasn't the best first day ever...but it wasn't horrible. Hardly. I was a little stressed about Chem./ Lab not being scheduled cause that's kinda two periods I need. I had two study halls which wasn't making sense to me since I had two periods that needed scheduled. My lunch was okay, but I should be in a new one tomorrow after all my changes are made to the schedule. That could be good or bad, I suppose. We shall see. Dropping madrigal choir was a little sad..but oh well...LIFE GOES ON.. So, that was the start of my sophomore year.  Niiice and boring.

Yesterday I went to practice in the morning and was there until one painting signs! Yes, I was at cheerleading from 8-1... Then, I came home and did some things around here. Then, I had to get ready for the Sara Evans/Alan Jackson concert. I wasn't real thrilled about going. I mean I like Alan Jackson, but I was more excited to see the opening act -- Sara Evans. We had four tickets and we realized two were in the pavilion (pretty good seats..about 30 rows back) and two were on the lawn. Well, my sister, Kaitlyn, was like "Ash, I want to sit in the pavilion! It's my first concert!" So my aunt Laurey and I let her and my mom have the pavilion seats.  I'd never sat on the lawn for a concert before and who knows? It might be a.... great experience..  We asked an usher, "So, we have lawn seats...that means..we just sit anywhere..on the lawn?" He was like, "Yeah, wherever you want."   Oh, great! Anywhere I want!!? *rolls eyes* We walked up the hill where thousands of other people looked to me having a good time, and I kept asking my aunt Laurey, "Which grass do you want? That grass looks nice.." (jokingly)  We know we looked completely clueless  as we unfolded our blanket and sat down. I kept joking, "Look! You can kind of see the stage from here!" But we agreed it wasn't too too bad and we'd be comfortable sitting here..what else could we do? This was where we were sitting.

Then, this guy comes over and taps my aunt Laurey on the shoulder.
"Hey, you girls big fans?!"
"Yeah, " we smiled and said politely.  I thought, "Oh my gosh, if one more guy comes and asks us to buy t-shirts!"
He said, "Great! I'm Marty and this is _______ and _______ (I forget their names) and we're part of Alan Jackson's band. Shh!  Here's two front row tickets for tonights show! You girls have fun and yell a lot!"
We kept saying, "Yeah right", "No way," "Nuh-uh!", and "Are you serious?!" to the point where I'm sure they wished they'd picked two other clueless people on that hill! LOL! Finally, we were like, "Wow! Thank you sooo much!" We were laughing and giggling sooo hard! Then, I remembered I had my camera. I said, "Hey wait! Will you guys get a picture with us?!" They agreed! They were so nice! Like, what were the chances? Out of the thousands and thousands of people on that lawn, they picked....us?! So, we went back down to the guy we'd asked about our lawn tickets to and said, "Hi..we got promoted!" and we handed him our tickets. He said, "You're going to have to go down to the front." So, we walked to the front a little and showed our tickets to another usher who said we needed to go get our wristbands at the VIP booth. hahahaha..ooookay. So, we went and got our pink wristbands and made our way to the front. An usher there escorted us to our seats. My aunt laurey goes, "Wow, we really are up here!" We finally made it to the front row and in the center of that row sat two blue seats. FOR US! We were front row, center stage!!!!! I called everyone I could think of and told them what happened! Thanks for listening, guys! hahaha! Sara Evans came out shortly after and saw how excited we were. I mean, she was like three feet away. (She had no pimples! I could tell.  You know..I was that close and all.) She smiled down and waved at us! We waved back..honestly looking so star struck! hahaha! I kept smiling at her guitar player and he came right in front of me when he played his solo and after he got done, winked, smiled, stuck his tongue out, and threw me his pic! My pictures are absolutely awesome! Alan Jackson's concert was awesome too! It was sooo cool to see the guys that gave us tickets up on the stage performing with Alan Jackson!  They kept smiling and nodding at us and we continuously thanked them! Alan also threw me his guitar pic. My scrapbook page of the concert is going to be absolutely fantabulous! We were up on the screen dancing and singing a lot! I woke up this morning and I was like, "Wow..nooo way!" It was soo much fun! We definitely happened to be in the right place at the right time!

Today was so much fun! After cheerleading my friends and I randomly decided to go to Sandcastle with my aunt. We didn't think anyone could go, then my aunt's ready to leave and we're like LET'S GO! So Kayla, Cass, Katie, and I piled in the car with my uncle, aunt, cousin, and sister and headed to Sandcastle! It was so much fun! It always is with them. ALLEEEEXXXX!! yeah buddy!  Eww..and that girl lifeguard. She was just..idk...Alex was nice though. He was reallllllly nice. haha."THREE!" hahahahaha! Then, we headed to the WaterFront and shopped a little. That was fun too, but I'm really tired after that long day soo I'm going to sleep and then to practice in the morning...AGAIN! yessss...

Sunday night and Monday were very awesome..as promised! After practice we all went to Erin's and had sooo much fun!
*pizza guy, laying out, skinny-dipping , pizza?!, WHO ARE YOU?!, ipod, ...ARE YOU NUDE?!?!?!?* hahahahahahha...so many great memories..i know i won't forget.
Then Monday morning we all got up early and started getting ready. It was great cause we were all there to help each other! Unfortunately, it was raining... .. So, when we got to Kennywood they had moved the competition to noon and into a pavillion. Which..we knew we didn't need to perform on the lagoon to win. We were cool with that.  After all the junior high squads performed, they started JV and we we're second to perform. It was such an awesome feeling to get up and do this routine you've been working on so hard and forever as a group. You didn't have to worry about smiling. You were just so into it that you smiled sooo big! Everyone did awesome! So, we ended up placing second. Not too bad for our first cheerleading competition! Coal Show's coming up and we're def. winning that one. Love you guys! Missed you, Nat! We did it for you!   After Varsity went, we went to get pictures taken by the merry-go-round and then I had to get back to help lead the music for VBS by 6. I made it but had to go still in uniform. I felt dumb..but atleast I made it! It's always fun to help out with VBS.. Well, this is getting boring so I better stop for now.  I LOVE YOU, JV CHEERLEADERS! (and the fantastic five!)
